First off please excuse the badly put on false lashes (I did fix them before I went out!!) but here is one of my favourite eyeshadow looks.

Products used...

Painterly Paintpot
Sumptuous Olive
Gorgeous Gold
Humid
Club (Brown/Green duo-chrome)
Brule
Crystal Avalanche
Black track fluid line
Fascinating Eye Kohl
Smoulder Eye Kohl
Carbon

The lashes I used were from Eyelure - The Collection designed by Sarah Harding.
These ones, whilst still dramatic look more natural I think than the Cheryl ones.

Mac Purple Look!!

So the other day I did a dramatic purple look but I have only just managed to post it!!
I hadn't used my pigments in a while so I decided to whip them out and use my favourite colour Mac Grape.

On the inner corner, as usual, I used Cystal Avalanche and then used Shale as a transition colour to go from the white to the deep purple that is
Grape.

After that I put a little of Electra in the certain of the lid and again blended it out.

Also a little Mac Wedge was used to transition from the purple to the brow bone as I find this warms up the skin around the eye area and helps with the blending!!!

Then I used Brule as a highlight as its matte so there is an even usuage between shimmer and matte colours.

Other make up used is Mac's blacktrack fluid line, L'Oreal Telescopic mascara and Dark edge eyeshadow on the brows.

Hope you all like!!!

Neutral Thursday

So today was when of them days where I couldnt get away with my beloved colour looks, so I had to opt for a more neutral eye. (^sigh^)

So today I used some trusted Mac products (please excuse my shaky camera work, its hard taking photos with your eyes closed!!!!)

Namely,
Expensive Pink all over the lid - when doing neutral looks, I like to keep the shimmery shade on the lid and blend into matte colours in the crease.

I scuplted the crease with Wedge as its slightly darker than my skin tone, so it can carve out my desired look without looking to 'made up'

And Dark Edge (from the Tempting quad) to darken up the corners and also as a liner to my bottom eye lash line.

I also used my fave, Crystal Avalanche, to highlight the inner corners. (and Brule on the brow bone)

I opted out of tight lining or using my usual black kohl liner on the water line as I needed it to be fresh looking.

So what do you think??

I like it! A bit boring maybe, but perfect for the days when you cant get away with slapping it all on.

Lesson for today, dont use ur cameraphone to take blog pictures!!!
